Pancake |
Pancake is something great for breakfast. Quick to do and easy to eat. To make it fun for kids, you can also pour the batter into a plastic bottle that you can squeeze directly into the pan .. any shape any form you like ^^ Light, soft and not too sweet, try once and you will do it again and again (and again ;))
What you need:
Ingredients |
1 cup All-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
1/4 teaspoon Baking soda
1/2 salt Salt
1/4 cup Sugar
1 Egg
1/2 cup Yogurt
1/2 cup Milk
2 tablespoons unsalted Butter, melted
* this will make about 20-25 pancakes (2.5 inch size)
* TIP for a light pancake: do NOT mix too much, just ENOUGH to combine everything together then STOP. Lump are fine.
How to:
Mix together dry ingredients |
Mix together wet ingredients EXCEPT butter |
Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients then add melted butter, stir a bit. |
Heat pan on medium heat then spoon batter into pan |
When surface begin to bubble, turn the pancake |
Serve! |
* Serve immediately: plain, with nut, maple syrup, sour cream, anything ^^
