Sour cream Cake

Sour cream cake. Simple & classic cake that easy to please all ages at any occasions. With " brown sugar filling", it add a nice crunchy texture and caramel taste to the cake. Walnuts, or any nuts you choose will only make this cake even more interesting. Look good, taste great .. serve them along with a cup of tea or coffee. Happy afternoon tea ^_^

The Daring Bakers' JUNE 2011 Challenge: From Phyllo to Baklava

Erica of Erica's Edibles was our host for the Daring Baker's June challenge. Erica challenged us to be truly DARING by making homemade phyllo dough and then to use that dough to make Baklava.

Thank you Erica. This is such a fun dessert to make. It is very easy and It is delicious. If you love nut, you will love this dessert so much that there will not have enough left to store or to freeze ^_^ I am so happy to have this chance, to try to make my own Phyllo. Before this, I never think that it is something you can make by yourself at home but after my first try, with such a nice result, I can say that it is easy and it is fun  ^_^  Thank you The Daring Kitchen ^_^ for this fun experience!

Apple Walnut Flax Seed Bread

Raining and cold. What a weather. This is what spring should be? :} Ooops, am i beginning my post by complaining?!?!!?? sorry ^^ Speaking about this recipe, what an interesting recipe. I like all the ingredients. It's quick and easy. It's healthy. I only baked 1/2 of the original recipe and finished it all in one day. The texture is soft and smell is just so good. The taste is great, apple everywhere ^^ Nut make this bread crunchy, nice! Let's make this together! ^^

I just love baking with spiced. Not only in the kitchen but just the whole house smell so good with it. It makes me feel at home. Feel warm even when it's cold. Also, it makes me feel so hungry that i feel more "eating" than "tasting" the batter before baking them. Yes, i always taste the batter .. all kinds of batter! Sometimes i find them even taste better than baked one :D This Hermit Cookies is just so de-li-ci-ous. I also like the contrast of the color of cookies and the icing. They get along so well together. I baked this once for my lovely neighbors who decided to all come outside on one shiny afternoon to take a sun bath and chat between parents while, at the same time, look after their kids playing all together on the street. What a nice neighborhood! and and and they said they like this cookies ^^
