Pear and Raisin Clafouti

Pear and Raisin Clafouti

French dessert. Texture a little bit like jelly or some kind of pudding but without bread. Look complicate but actually so easy so quick to make .. and .. sure to impress anyone who taste ^^ Really!!



What you need:

Ingredients

2 Pear, cut into 8 slices for each pear
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup dried Raisin
3/4 cup whole milk
3/4 cup whipping cream
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of salt
Optional: Poppy seed, Almond sliced
Canola oil spray, for greasing

How to:

Prepare ceramic tart or any oven-safe dish.  
Butter them lightly then dust with flour.




Peel pear, cut them lengthwise,
then arrange in prepared dish.
Blend together
milk + cream + eggs + vanilla + sugar + flour + salt
until smooth (about 1 minute)
Pour batter over pear. Sprinkle raisin over batter.
Bake about 25 minutes in preheat oven at 400 F.


* With this recipe, i can make 4 @ 4 inches dish (25 minutes) and 2 @ 5 inches dish (30 minutes)
* Clafouti can be refrigerated in an airtight container up to 1 day.
